| | grateful | ] | Roaring out Circle of Life today was veryvery heartfeltly nice. I miss singing like mad. Screeching in the bathroom at home by myself is slightly different from singing with people you care about, trust, and have beautiful voices (:
I will seem a wanabe/jaded little brat, but:
I will never stop being in awe how music is able to express the whole spectrum of human emotion. Plato and Pythagoras make some sense, after all!

| | Desk. | ] | It is Saturday 28.6.08 12.41pm and I am breaking my LJ post-fast :D
In other news, i watched my first M18 movie with my mum who suggested, excitedly, Sex and The City. Now, with a title like that no-one could have possibly imagined there'd be Scenes Of That Nature in there, could they? Which is the reason why my mum walked out telling me very horrifiedly in Chinese that I had "watched too many things that I should not have watched" and that I "please only watch this and not try them out".
.... adults.
IS consultations start next week, H3 lit is in a sad, mangled, undone state now, all things Econs are coming to haunt me and so please let me slam head repeatedly against desk.

I blog. *is ridiculously happy*
I blog probably only this once before I go back to hiding and procrastinating and try to mug KIeconsmathlit everything else that I have screwed up/not done spectacularly well in.
(Note that nearly twelve months of non-posting has done nothing for my coherence, which is a sad, sad thing).
Quan has inspired me out of my stagnation and into fragmented word-dom again! Quan will be happy to disclose full details, though I will admit to a teaser: <3 PRINCE. :D
Lunch today with her was brilliant and I am suddenly struck by how intimate mealtimes are, really. Not hugeass lunches or dinners involving a whole house (not that I've actually taken part in one) etc, but slugging-around-in-canteen-with-your-ridiculously-tiny-class kind of breaks, with the most innane / philosophical discussions surfacing during the very precious one or half an hours between the time which I nod off onto my notes, or so the classmates claim we have lessons. These, and one-to-one lunches/meals, which, with the right people, can feel like you've gone high on helium, and just simply happy . (:
On a random note, math remedial was pure crack; it involved drooling in sweaters, hating Pythagoras die, isoceles triangles T_________T, die now and general abuse. <33
I go now.

| | Bitch by Alanis Morissette | ] | aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Seeing that my friend Procrastination has kicked in for the past week and thus caused me to slack a perfectly good 7 days away (that's right, the Blame-Whatever-You-Can-Possibly-Blame Policy), I will now try to make it up with an entry that cannot be promised to be long but will probably end up to be. ^^ so, in chronological order, I present This Week.
and ahh lich's birthday was <3! Again with the many card games, winking, pushing into pools (Lichen, I say with satisfaction), and the unusual but appetising food XD (inedible cloth wrapping for the rolls, I smirk at my feathered friend).
then then INCOG OUTING! i say happily. XD grins. pigged out consumed at longjohns and loserly spilled ice cubes. sulks. had enriching gossip/Crack session involving a large span of topics which i will not cover here for general public welfare. wriggles eyebrows.
and finally, DEVIL WEARS PRADA. THAT MOVIE IS <3, i swear! okay besides the completely hawwt *looks in envy* clothes and impossibly goodlooking people, the adaptation was really good, and the acting was BRILLIANT. *worships Meryl Streep and fangirls Anne Hathway and Emily Blunt*. satisfied look. And thus, after all this and one green tea haagen daas icecream, MY ONE WEEK HAS BEEN HAPPY. VERY HAPPY.
school and/or netball carn tomorrow. WHINES. (may I also take this opportunity to WHINE about OPTIONS and how unbelievably screwed it is. annoyed look at timetable for emphasis.) Dies. Integration.

so regardless of the fact that I very probably screwed Math/Chinese/Lit/Chem/Bio/Physics up badly overoveroveroveroveroveroveroveroveroveroveroverover
OVER. *hysteria*
Dragged selves out to taka, being waylaid by japanese tourists who first wanted to get to Subway at Newton, then changed minds after discussion, to go to Chinatown. o.0 AND they have wierd tastes in sweets, which can't really be counted sweets since- well- they taste sour and salty and generally like prettily-packaged bad cheese. *grins at mel*
AND THEN. went and glutted on yoshi, where rgs girls were the only customers, and the whole world gave us accusing You-Pon-School stares when we walk. *squeaks*. Having lunch, or for certain demonstrations of the epitome of health, ice cream (yes, you, lich) at 10.30am in the morning does wierd things to the brain.
And so having fufilled primal greed/mouth-itchy hunger pangs (exhibit A: mel's face contortion and growling as the first 190 drove away) we then deicded, admist confusion (exhibit B- Very Exasperated Christabel: "no REALLY, where are we going?) to descend upon Kino. whereupon the Anime freaks enthusiasts headed for said section like iron fillings to an electromagnet with 10238304 coils. PHYSICS ANALOGY THIOCK BE PROUD OF ME. Ended up escaping manga nightmare zone and going to Bestsellers section and reading through highly interesting titles such as Sex With The Queen *smirks*.
Finally took busride to Brenda's, where we camped out at the Karoake room/ Billard Room where meaningful and educational activites such as screamalongs to westlife/christina aguilera/jessica simpson/brittney and choreographing CHEESY MOVES, spoofing 手牵手 (we had mikes, whut), teaching bel how to catwalk, trying and failing badly to disperse triangle group of balls 5 times consecutively, and hitting white balls into sockets, among many others. AND GETTING HIGH ON POTC.
CRACK, I declare. So it was decided, after the first 20 minutes of the show, that JackSparrow would be equally shared between me bel and lichen, while Lichen would have sole dibs on the two crossdressing pirates, one of whom has a fake eye, and bel the tall black scary dude who only ever grunts (and I quote, strong and silent). HAHAHA. JACK SPARROW/ COMMODORE NORRINGTON. oh come on it's a crackified Harry/Draco hahahahahaahahahaha CRACK IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL.
and thus ends Post-EOY-Expedition 1, with an embarrassing amount of noise that bourght security guards on us. Twice. says happily.
AND TODAY. hahahaahahahha I SWEAR OMG PANG IS HILARIOUS. hilarious hilarious hilarious. XDXD lesson on cultural landscape sidetracked into intense narration (with handactions and body movements) of boyfriend problems and how her mother put a stop to her study sessions with a d00d from a premiere school HAHAHAHAHHAHA DIES. but annoying/snide phonecall aside she isn't half bad. (probably) bunking with soonae for trip! exciting exciting.
so to homie and my feathered friend, NO MAP DRAWING WILL BE DONE . and me sleeps in hotel resort with a pool. SMUG LOOK.
ahahahahahaah LOVES! XD

Time heals, but it makes people wait for it. Which is the point, i think.
RHD! grins. our actions, no thanks to active members of the group, are highly refreshing and insightful, i say pointedly XD. rehearsals- be it the one-which-went-halfway-before joj came in and held discussions on strange dudes who are all terribly free to be counting pea plants and letting apples drop on their heads, i say waspishly- or the One-Which-We-Were-Late-For-Because-Of-Malfunctioning-Neoprint-Machines. *sheepish*. and ahh, speaking of the thrilling lunch outing in the company of thrilling people like Lichen and Bel and the marginally saner people whom i am profoundly grateful for like gengen and brenda with her snarky Lichen-controlling mechnichisms. And yes lunch at Subway was a very interesting affair. I add with trepidation that I am now a subway convert, insert cheer of choice here. GRINS gengen brenda lichen bel lickie and the rhd dudettes with matcing tshirts from U2 LOVE YOU GUYS ((:

Ah, reinstated.
Yes I succumb to peer pressure(!) and pull an LJ. I would like to take this chance to bemoan why the RI sops can reach higher than our own (the shame!) although, I add very objectively, they use falsetto and have cheesier movements than a uhh uhh Mozerella slice, movements which make The Brokeback seem convent-ish and straight. But the point really is that - procrastinates for as long as possible- they are really quite good *weeps*.
